“The Queen of Hill Stations” – Shimla, it is a beautiful capital city of the state Himachal Pradesh in India. Shimla is a region bounded by Uttarakhand, Mandi, Kullu, Solan, Kinnaur and Sirmaur. Shimla is considered the principal commercial, educational and cultural centre of Himachal Pradesh. The inhabitants of Shimla are informally called as the Shimlaites. A variety of festivals celebrated in Shimla make the town more vibrant and lively. One of the best festivals include the Shimla Summer Festival. Shimla is also home to Asia’s only natural ice skating rink that is named the Shimla Ice Skating Club. It hosts a carnival every year in January that includes fancy dress competition and skating events. This city is also home to several ancient and popular temples such as the Kali Bari temple, Jakhoo temple and Sankat Mochan Hanuman temple. The arts and crafts in Shimla are highly demanded by the tourists from all over the world as they offer a variety of intricately designed pieces of jewellery, sculptures, embroidered shawls, leather made articles, giant floral carpets and uniquely designed utensils.
Reach you respective city’s airport and catch the flight that we have booked for you. Arrive at the Delhi airport or railway station and meet our representative who would help you in an assisted transfer to Shimla city by road ways. Travel by the luxurious Volvo bus to Shimla and check in to the hotel that we have booked for your stay. Have dinner and overnight stay in hotel.
Wake up in the morning, have breakfast in the hotel and leave for sight-seeing. Visit the top attractions of Shimla such as Sankat Mochan temple, Jakhu temple and the State Museum. Experience a leisure walk in The Ridge and shop till you drop at The Mall Road. Return back to the hotel for overnight stay after having dinner.
Have breakfast and be ready to explore some more famous places in and around Shimla that attract tourists from all over the world. Visit places such as Crignano, The Ritz, Gaiety Theatre, Naldehra Golf Course and Tattapani, which is known for its hot springs. Return back for the overnight stay after candle night dinner in hotel.
After an early morning breakfast, head to the hill spot of Kufri, a popular destination for skiing and other adventurous activities. Go carting (a mini racing car ride on a track of 250 m length available for single and double seating), enjoy snow skating (in the months from December to February), explore commando net climbing, single rope climbing and many more thrilling activities. Later, continue towards the Chail that is famous for its architectural marvels. Have a post lunch meal in Chail and return back to the hotel in Shimla in evening. Have dinner and overnight stay in hotel.
After morning breakfast, check out of the hotel packing all the sweet memories of Shimla and travel via our arranged transport back to Delhi.
